StreetSport awards

Lorna Ferguson, our StreetSport project coordinator, has won a prestigious award in Havant Borough Sports Council's 2008 sports awards.

In front of a large audience of invited guests at the February awards ceremony, Lorna received the runner-up prize in the 'Service to Sport' category.

This award was for all Lorna's work with StreetSport over the past year.

Lorna has shown total commitment and dedication to enable StreetSport to develop into a major and popular initiative with so many young people.

This award is an outstanding achievement for Lorna and our congratulations go to her on this well-deserved success.

StreetSport was also awarded runner-up for 'Best Art/Sport Community Project' by The News at their 'We Can Do It Awards' recently.
